One evening, Nilo the little robot saw that the lighthouse was dark. “Bip! Boats need its light to find their way and stay away from the rocks!” He looked up: perhaps a star could help. But how could he reach it? A lollipop made his tummy rumble, and the sun was already asleep. Wings! Flap, wobble, WHOOSH! Nilo flew into the sky and gently borrowed a twinkling star. Now he needed to get down without landing in a very splashy puddle. What should he use? A parachute! It opened like a giant umbrella, carrying him safely back to the lighthouse. Nilo placed the star inside the lantern. GOLDEN LIGHT swept across the water! The boats could see the coast again. “Mission complete!” he cheered, unwrapping his lollipop. “Saving the evening is rather sweet!”
A make-believe story: here you can borrow a star! Real stars are enormous and very far away.
