Welcoming a teacher. Feeling at ease.
Entering a family’s home takes care, clarity and respect. We agree on practical arrangements together before any ongoing experience.
Before the session.
- A clear point of contact
The parent remains the contact for scheduling, aims and communication.
- Workspace and adult presence
We agree on a suitable area, home access and the presence or availability of a responsible adult.
- Materials and price
Activities, equipment, any materials to prepare and costs are clarified in advance.
Along the way.
- Relationships and boundaries
Age-appropriate activities and arrangements made with the parent. No private communication is requested from the child.
- Useful observations
We share emerging interests and possible next steps without rankings or pressure.
- Privacy and images
We collect only useful information. Any public use of photographs requires separate consent.
Growing with care.
The founder is the initial point of contact. As the team grows, experience with children, preparation and the approach to families will guide selection. The teacher’s name and relevant verified information will be shared before a programme is confirmed.
Questions are welcome.
Is this traditional after-school tutoring?
English is the first available ADAVELA experience. Robotics is coming next; financial education and painting are in development.
Can we choose just one programme?
Yes. You can start with a specific interest or tell us what your child enjoys. There is no requirement to take all four programmes.
Where do sessions take place?
Initially, sessions take place at home in Lugano, Paradiso, Bellinzona and nearby areas by arrangement. We check materials, space and activities together before confirming.
How long is a session?
The initial benchmark is 40–45 minutes, but duration and pace depend on age and the experience. Robotics and painting may need different time or materials, agreed in advance.
Can a shy child take part?
Yes. The first meeting is also a chance to get comfortable. Children do not have to demonstrate skills or speak immediately: we start with what interests them and respect their pace.
Does a parent need to be present?
Before starting, we agree on the presence and availability of a responsible adult, home access and a suitable workspace. ADAVELA is not a babysitting service; arrangements are agreed with the family.
How do you communicate progress?
Through brief observations about what engaged the child, the strategies they tried and possible next steps. No comparison with other children or promises of standardised outcomes.
Are there groups, camps or a centre?
These are future developments. Today we begin with personal experiences at home. Groups, workshops and camps will be announced when available; an after-school centre is a vision for the coming years.
What about photographs and privacy?
Information is shared with the parent contact. Any public use of a child’s image requires separate, specific consent; it is not a condition of participation.
How are prices and sessions agreed?
The form is a non-binding inquiry. Availability, programme, duration, materials, any travel costs and change or cancellation terms are communicated before sessions are agreed.
